Pros

Medical device company with research and development department working hard to improve old products to beat the market and competitors with the quality and less expensive product.

Cons

HR and Management are old boys club, if someone (Lab analyst or Scientist) disagree with their Performance evaluation rating, or raise their voice for some issues, will talk to HR, under the impression like HR will do something about it, instead HR will push that person further down the floor. Old boys club (HR and Managers) will misuse their power and will give Performance Improvement plan to that person. Weekly meetings with old boys club (HR and two managers) infront of peers and colleague watched you going to that meeting, manipulated that person to the point that either he or she will resign or will be fired. Ethic online is completely waste of time. BD Medical in Sandy Utah are losing dedicated employees, while some bumps (lazy and manager loving) are celebrating their tenure with BD Medical Sandy, Utah

Pros

Chaotic environment forces quick growth. Treat it as a resume builder and then find a more stable opportunity.

Cons

Constant backorders due to poor management. Likely to have more changes in leadership team(s) than years spent at the company. Unethical leaders that act like high school bullies and cling to titles rather than create a supportive environment. Employees constantly left in the dark due to lack of meetings or failure of leaders to even learn what their teams are working on. Constant reorgs with no consideration of impact to teams or business continuity. Frequent cases of falsified performance reviews to push out whistleblowers with complicit HR teams. Quality policy is a joke. RTO push to high COL areas with no relocation support, onboarding, seat and laptop assignment - only to lay off entire teams within a year just to repost the same position and ask laid off employees to re-apply.
