Pros

Opportunities to collaborate with fun and unique companies

Cons

Spread Too Thin: The workload can often feel overwhelming, with limited resources and support, leading to employees feeling spread too thin across multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Unachievable Bonus: Despite promises of a bonus structure, achieving it feels like an impossible task due to unclear metrics and constantly shifting goalposts. Lack of Recognition for Sales Ops Teams: Sales Operations teams often go unnoticed and under-appreciated, despite their crucial role in facilitating sales processes and ensuring operational efficiency. No Accountability: There's a noticeable lack of accountability among certain team members and departments, making it challenging to address and rectify mistakes or inefficiencies. Nonexistent Work-Life Balance: Expectations for availability and responsiveness outside of regular working hours make maintaining a healthy work-life balance nearly impossible, leading to burnout and frustration among employees. Difficulty in Taking PTO: Despite the company policy on paid time off, taking a PTO day can feel like an uphill battle due to workload pressures and the fact that no one is willing to cover for anyone, Limited Career Growth Opportunities: Despite dedication and hard work, career advancement seems elusive within the organization. There's a noticeable lack of structured career development paths or opportunities for vertical mobility, leaving employees feeling stagnant and undervalued in their roles. Low Compensation Relative to Cost of Living: The compensation offered by the company is insufficient to meet the rising cost of living, particularly in the areas where employees are based. This disparity places financial strain on individuals and undermines their ability to maintain a reasonable standard of living.

Pros

- Decent base salary if this is your first job out of University. - Free Swag - WFH Fridays - Smart and helpful colleagues

Cons

- Incredibly stressful, do NOT take this job if you do not have a high stress tolerance. - A ton of competing priorities that almost always require quick/immediate action. - You get a ton of emails and are expected to be able to pull up and reference any of them at a moments notice. - Constant whiplash between doing deep, focused work (presentation/catalogs) that have a ton of details and require your full attention versus quick/rapid fire tasks that you must address immediately. There were days where I was working on one presentation all day and couldn't get it done because of how much I was getting pinged to resolve other issues. - To get promoted you must essentially do the job of 2 people (CSC and PSA). Beyond that, there is no real career progression unless you want to go into sales. - Management always says to raise your hand if you need help. But when you ask for help, there is always pushback in the form of others having more task hours than you. - CEO took away one of the WFH days. When Qualtrics had negative feedback he essentially said "If you don't like it - then leave". He is a "Do as I say, not as I do." type of leader. - Workload and responsibilities are not commiserate to the salary.
