While they preach "family" - the new owners (Private Equity firm: Greenbriar) have slashed and burned head count, and have not brought any new or innovative ideas to the table. Plus - between terminations, massive waves of resignations and some retirements (all of which have not been replaced) - the remaining staff is stretched so thin and without any senior management to guide them, it won't be long until the longest tenure is a few months or so. Let's see how much work we can throw at young staff without guidance - at least until we can recoup our funds and sell to the next dupes!
