Pros

This is a great place to make friends right out of school. The people who you will work with (on an equal or almost equal level) are all extremely nice and fun. There are many office romances (good and bad) leading to many office marriages. You can expect to get a decent education on the logistics industry and then take that elsewhere. If you are vocal and hard working, and make nice with the right people, you can receive a lot of personal and professional development.

Cons

As everyone else has said, this is a family-owned company where they hired many of their friends who have made it into senior management positions. Many of these people are no good at their jobs and there are many dinosaurs who are making crazy salaries who don't do anything. That being said, they have just promoted a really good guy to Chief Operating Officer so we're all hoping to see some change in that realm. The Bolte brothers are all really nice, fair guys... however many of their management are friends with them and I don't think bother to actually listen to their commands - which is a real shame because these guys do have good heads on their shoulders. Depending on your manager, you can get really screwed on salary raises and benefits. Some are good, some are bad - and there is really no check on that so you're screwed until you move departments to a better, more fair manager.

Pros

Great team and management. Positive work environment with acknowledgement of successes and accomplishments. Appreciated.

Cons

Too many systems to work efficiently. Need to streamline processes. I.T. department overseas and not practical for USA issues.
