Your feedback highlights an important tension that exists in scaling a high-touch, relationship-driven service while also supporting the systems that make remote work reliable and sustainable.
In addition to placement, BELAY handles client acquisition, matching, and onboarding, along with backend administration such as contracts, invoicing, collections, and ongoing client support. These services are designed to allow contractors to focus on the work they do best, without the need to market themselves, manage billing, or navigate client logistics independently. Even when day-to-day support may feel minimal in stable relationships, the infrastructure and advocacy remain in place should needs shift on either side.
That said, we recognize the importance of clear and timely communication—especially around rate adjustments—and your feedback regarding transparency is well taken.
