-Nice base pay for the area (If you negotiate well). -Company match 401k. -3 tiered health benifits package offered with annual discount program. -Education reimbursement program.

Cons

-No one is held accountable, if someone doesn't want to do something, they just don't do it. -Executive management only receives feedback from top plant management. -Safety and quality are not first. -Corporate is located in Germany and is not responsive when asked for assistance or direction. -Communication to employees is lacking. -Bias runs rampid. If you are not in the "clique" you will not advance here. Policy is ignored/altered for certain employees.

One of the worst onboarding experiences I have been apart of. Since day 1, there have been zero expectations or guidance from the manager. The individual training has basically passed off all topics and files off with zero background knowledge and the cadence of how things operate. It was then expected of me to lead everything in the first 25 days of being on the team. As you could imagine, this has led to direct failure of tasks to be completed. The individual training does not appear to actually want to train, but rather move on to their new role and just get everything off their plate and expect you to understand all topics immediately. Unfortunately, not sure how long this will last and if I will be staying with BENTELER. Based on what I found out after being hired, it sounds like they hired the first person just so the individual could get into their new role as fast as possible without thinking about how the backfill would succeed coming into this role.
