Pros

- international company (with a strong focus on Germany, true) wih lots of contacts to colleagues from all over the world, how great is that?! - lots of possibilities both for horizontal and vertical development - good colleagues, good benefits - interesting jobs, interesting tasks (most of the time relally)

Cons

- too focused on Germany in some aspects and sometimes not really appreciating the struggles and great solutions that the regions have - too focused on processes in my view, we need to get back to doing stuff.

Cons

One of the worst onboarding experiences I have been apart of. Since day 1, there have been zero expectations or guidance from the manager. The individual training has basically passed off all topics and files off with zero background knowledge and the cadence of how things operate. It was then expected of me to lead everything in the first 25 days of being on the team. As you could imagine, this has led to direct failure of tasks to be completed. The individual training does not appear to actually want to train, but rather move on to their new role and just get everything off their plate and expect you to understand all topics immediately. Unfortunately, not sure how long this will last and if I will be staying with BENTELER. Based on what I found out after being hired, it sounds like they hired the first person just so the individual could get into their new role as fast as possible without thinking about how the backfill would succeed coming into this role.
