Supportive team, but unclear structure - Anonymous employee BFA Global Employee Review

Note that I primarily worked on BFA Global's Catalyst Fund, which is equal parts venture investor and technical assistance service provider, so this may not be accurate for the rest of the organization. The experience to working closely with disruptive, purpose-driven founders across emerging markets was incredible. I learned a lot and really felt the impact of my work immediately.

Priorities are driven by the funders, so if there's a mismatch with what you want as an individual, then it's tough to justify.

BFA’s culture is global, entrepreneurial, innovative, collaborative and supportive. The work with startups is fast-paced, engaging and impactful. Flexibility with work hours is respected and valued.

Demanding work can easily translate into long days, even with flexibility with work hours.
