Pros

* BHG prides itself on its commitment to developing its people, and encouraging their growth. Moving and growing within the company is encouraged and almost expected * BHG is very committed to creating innovative technological solutions, so leadership is very open to embracing new technologies and platforms where it makes sense. If you can make a compelling case for something that you need, you will have their support * The company was very proactive about the pandemic and went to almost 100% remote at the very beginning. Everyone on my team has been able to perform all of their work remotely and productivity has increased noticeably. * BHG is very responsive to requests for equipment or software or anything that will help accomplish our goals. Also they are very supportive and flexible with regard to training * BHG really goes out of it's way to try to get all of it's people engaged. There is a prevalent message that we are all one team working toward one goal, so everyone's input is important and we all should work together. * Pay and benefits are great, and there are great incentives. When the company does well, we do well, we all share in the success.

Cons

As is pretty much standard with technology, at times work-life balance suffers when there are looming deadlines. BHG does a good job of trying to compensate for that but at times we end up working through weekends or late nights or over holidays to get something finished. I'll still give them 5 stars for work life balance because this is unavoidable in this type of industry, and I appreciate the flex time and other accommodations to offset the impact.

Dynamic & Engaging Work: Its a fast-paced environment, but it keeps things interesting and provides opportunities to grow and work on impactful initiatives that drive the business forward. Sometimes this can lead to rework, or multiple people doing working on the same things. i.e.: Borrower Portals.
