Pros

The bulk of the benefits are great, insurance for spouse is reduced pricing compared to other companies, and getting the 3rd Friday off each month is a nice perk.

Cons

Management (C-level) does not know how to steer the ship. One meeting they’re telling you the company is posting great profits and the next minute you’re laid off (this was within 2 weeks of each other).

This review is disappointing and does not reflect the commitment BHG has to its employees. It is the intent of the BHG leadership team to put together an operating plan that will allow the company and its employees to continue to achieve positive results. Like many other companies, we continue to face a difficult macroeconomic backdrop, meaning leadership must take into consideration many factors before making a tough decision on personnel. These decisions are never taken lightly. With that said, we make it a point to build up every member of the team with the very best tools, support, and leadership to ensure success. As you mentioned, BHG continues to offer great perks and benefits like covered health insurance, Wellness Weekends in addition to generous PTO, remote work opportunities, and so much more. The environment makes you feel valued and motivated to do your best. Strong Leadership: Leadership at the top demonstrates commitment to the company’s success and its employees. Investment in Employees: BHG genuinely invests in its people, whether through tools, professional development, or embracing innovation. This focus helps employees grow which directly strengthens the company! I love this! Benefits & Perks: The benefits package is competitive and well-rounded. Cons

Dynamic & Engaging Work: Its a fast-paced environment, but it keeps things interesting and provides opportunities to grow and work on impactful initiatives that drive the business forward. Sometimes this can lead to rework, or multiple people doing working on the same things. i.e.: Borrower Portals.
