Pros

People at BISSELL are very friendly and passionate about the company. The company is not afraid to invest in its employees and in the business.

Cons

All VPs except for the VP of HR are white men. This is very common is most midwestern companies, but something that is needs to be changed, not only at BISSELL.

The business remains one of the oldest family-owned companies in the US, that continues to see growth and success. There's transparency with results and we avoid the unnecessary fiscal exercises that are tied back to shareholder reporting with publically traded companies. The culture is one of respect and flexibility.

Cons

There are be some over conservatism at times, but the long history of success speaks for itself.
