Pros
Many of the employees are really great, hard working, and kind people. They also have a nonprofit (BISSELL Pet Foundation) that is authentic and makes a real, positive difference in the community. Compensation seemed fair... to begin with. Their bonus program is another story.
Cons
Where to begin... for starters, I imagine many of these positive reviews that have absolutely no cons ("none at the moment"!) are written by the BISSELL favorites and "lifers". The primary issue with BISSELL is the evident favoritism and politics involved with moving up or even being recognized for your work. Many managers are only trying to enhance their career and save their own skin instead of helping employees. They are also growing rapidly but not willing to hire accordingly or even invest in the proper software to do the job correctly. The systems that are in place make it extremely difficult to move at the speed they are desiring. Lastly, as mentioned in some other reviews, many promises are made and never fulfilled. From what I heard from other associates, this seems to be an ongoing pattern.
