Pros
Within my department, I was able to learn different areas of registration (labor and delivery, ED, GILab, etc). Registration also offered a lot of OT.
Cons
Working here was terrible. I lasted so long because it was convenient and I am not a "job hopper". Unfortunately, this department had so much drama and favoritism going on it was unbearable. I had applied for this job several times. I met the qualifications, but within 5 minutes of my application I was denied for the job. It took a family member who worked at MOBAP to mention something and get me an interview. I was hired right away! Worst decision I could have made. I started off PerDiem/As needed. I was promised a raise and permanent position all the time, but the job would always be given to someone else who kissed their behinds. There was NO training and NO confidentiality among supervisors/leads/employees. After 3 years of working there with no write ups or anything I came to work and could not log into my computer. Contacted IT and found out I was terminated with no reason. The HR department and my supervisor have yet to inform me of this. - no communication - treats employees horrible - unfair pay - long hours - poor management - unfair HR practices - treated like slaves - no appreciation - favoritism
