Pros
Good WFH depending on manager. Work/life balance is great, no strict hours put in. Able to come in late after dr visits or other life appointments, no one blinks an eye. Can easily work on side pet projects with no issue as long as normal work is being completed.
Cons
401k match is terrible. 1.5% max match. They supplement this with a pension, but pension only good for those planning to spend whole career there(comes down to basically years with BJC is the % of your 5yr avg over past 10 years you will get yearly). Merit raises only 2.5%, no opportunity for performance based merit increase. You don't get promotoed, you have to apply for a position to move up on the tech side. Management advancement has a golden road. Salary is below the St Louis market rate for most tech positions.
