Information Services is slow moving and archiac - Anonymous employee BJC HealthCare Employee Review

The company is mired in red tape on the Information Services side of business and to get even the simplest of tasks completed seem almost insurmountable. Middle management, for the most part, is ineffective and a cause for the low moral. The philosophy at this organization is that management personnel does NOT necessarily need to know anything about I.T. in order to "lead" the various groups within Information Services. I, along with others, find this vexing.
