Terrible - Lab Technician Microbiology BJC HealthCare Employee Review

Pros

They hire without experience, so it's a good start to get experience and move on.

Cons

The management is rude and mean. They have supervisors above the coordinators, and the latter are above what they call "specialists". Few of those "specialists" were really mean and gossipy. I was not given a chance to succeed and I was fired after only 3 weeks of starting. They claimed that I was not doing well, which was a lie (even though I made a few mistakes, but it should have been fine because I was in training) and they fired me as a result.

Pros

Fully remote, excellent culture. Caring and compassionate leadership.

Cons

Compensation not entirely aligned with job. It’s not terrible by any means, but it’s somewhat below the median for the responsibilities.
