Good company, good products & services. Will need to update their online banking and procedures to meet customer demands. Management and messages of performance is reason for turnover. The motto of management for having folks leave is " job fit", "career change" for employees, it's the new motto of old school coach up or coach out. Top performing employees leave due to constant nervousness of job and not having job security. Direction from regional presidents to markets are "let's move folks to a different job" which means start process of having those employees pushed out. - Anonymous employee BMO US Employee Review

Pros

Good benefits, Good team atmosphere, great brand name. There are many things that BMO sponsors and its a great way to meet other employees from other depts and that leads to better networking.

Cons

Leadership Team, direction, structure, change, not truly caring about the employees. The leadership team needs more training and development not making the employees feel valued should a reason for concern. This leads to higher turnover and not keeping great talent at bank.

Pros

Pros: • Great coworkers who foster a supportive team environment. • Strong commitment to community engagement and involvement. • Attractive annual bonuses and competitive quarterly compensation.

Cons

Cons: • High levels of sales pressure, which can be overwhelming at times. • Concerns about management, particularly after the hiring of former Bank of America leadership; implementation of their sales culture. • Recent changes to branch names (now referred to as Financial Banking Centers) suggest a shift towards Bank of America's practices. • Many branch managers are on performance improvement plans and face pressure to meet 100% of their goals weekly, leading to a stressful work environment. • There are reports of unethical sales practices that may require regulatory attention. Overall: BMO offers a positive work atmosphere with great benefits, but the increasing sales pressure and management issues may raise concerns for potential employees.
