Pros

The only pros were the benefits, and my coworkers keeping me sane.

Cons

Everything else. I was in the customer contact center, of my 12 classmates, 7 included myself left within the first 9 months. The others were looking to leave. They lie to get you in the door. Once you are in the contact center you are not getting out. If you are good at what you do they wont let you leave the CCC because you are too valuable to them. I have too many horror stories to mention here, but they push SALES this isnt about customer service at all. They expect you to provide a solution but more importantly they are only driven by their bottom line. And IF you make those sales goals you get absolutely NOTHING for it, no commission, no extra bonus, except for the one everyone else gets at the end of the year which is only 1-2% of your pay, about $1000. They frown upon too many bathroom breaks, even though your taking hundreds of calls a day! The customers are VERY verbally abusive. This was the main reason I left. The customers are unhappy with BMO so they take it out on YOU. Just don't work here, I promise you will regret it.

Pros

Pros: • Great coworkers who foster a supportive team environment. • Strong commitment to community engagement and involvement. • Attractive annual bonuses and competitive quarterly compensation.

Cons

Cons: • High levels of sales pressure, which can be overwhelming at times. • Concerns about management, particularly after the hiring of former Bank of America leadership; implementation of their sales culture. • Recent changes to branch names (now referred to as Financial Banking Centers) suggest a shift towards Bank of America's practices. • Many branch managers are on performance improvement plans and face pressure to meet 100% of their goals weekly, leading to a stressful work environment. • There are reports of unethical sales practices that may require regulatory attention. Overall: BMO offers a positive work atmosphere with great benefits, but the increasing sales pressure and management issues may raise concerns for potential employees.
