Pros

None, on call 24/7 365 with to day of a month. Corporate greed in this industry is criminal! Din a different job. Ask any TY&E employee. I have worked here for more than 20 years. Choose another career path.

Cons

Management is horrible, they pay has not kept up. You will make twice as much as a Taco Bell employee if you work a yard job. On the road on call 24/7 360 with no time off with no life is not worth the peanuts they pay. We have been going backwards for more than 20 years. Have had a raise that isn’t offset by medical insurance increase since I have worked here. Corporate greed and profits are all they care about. The judges, politicians and unions have been bought and paid for. They want one man crews so they can make more money. They know a one man crew employees will have medical problems in the middle of know where with no way to get an ambulance to you. And they do not care. If you take a job here you are working for the devil. Not worth it. Be a plumber, electrician, builder, pipe fitter.

Pros

This is a great place to start and grow your career, especially as an MT, with tons of opportunities to take on projects and explore what interests you. Leadership at every level is genuinely supportive and approachable, and people across the company are always willing to teach, mentor, and help you succeed. Compensation and benefits are competitive, and the Business Resource Groups really add to the sense of community and development.

Cons

There are so many opportunities that it can sometimes feel a little overwhelming figuring out what path to focus on. Balancing day-to-day work with all the development options can be a bit challenging depending on your role and workload.

Pros

Great people and strong coworkers across the organization. The company offers competitive pay, strong benefits, and good overall stability. There are many experienced employees who care about the work and are willing to help others succeed.

Cons

The organization can be very hierarchical, which sometimes makes it difficult to drive change or move quickly. Decisions often require multiple layers of approval, so it can take longer than expected to finalize direction or make progress. There is also limited flexibility compared to what many other companies offer, especially when it comes to working arrangements.
