Pros

15 vacation days a year for new employees, average workload

Cons

way under market value, low pay OCAP is unorganized, plays no role in job, appears that OCAPs are randomly placed on teams based on need, I was placed on pm role even though cs background that I was assured I would use during job interview, no insight on role before start date, no job description given at time of offer Every project is different and I know some employees have not experienced this, but I have witnessed yelling and belittling on calls, some employees are supportive, some are toxic

Pros

Some of the internal platforms have dev teams that would rival any other tech company. Can learn a lot if you end up on one of those teams.

Cons

Completely crap shoot as to if you land on a good team or a completely incompetent one. If you're on a bad one good luck. On a bad team you can expect vague work requirements and huge work loads with unmanageable delivery timelines. Also they're outsourcing to India heavily. Also also, most senior management is completely out of touch with reality and don't understand the tech stack they own (more you interact with them the more frighteningly obvious it becomes). HR is completely incompetent, of course, it's an open secret at the bank.
