Pay is good and above average

Cons

If you can survive the toxic culture there…. Diversity is only a nice word that they like to show like a waving flag, but the reality is that if in certain areas, if you’re not part of an specific community, you’re an outsider and will be left out of any and everything. It is sad that in this day and age, this is still a thing.

Pros

Some of the internal platforms have dev teams that would rival any other tech company. Can learn a lot if you end up on one of those teams.

Cons

Completely crap shoot as to if you land on a good team or a completely incompetent one. If you're on a bad one good luck. On a bad team you can expect vague work requirements and huge work loads with unmanageable delivery timelines. Also they're outsourcing to India heavily. Also also, most senior management is completely out of touch with reality and don't understand the tech stack they own (more you interact with them the more frighteningly obvious it becomes). HR is completely incompetent, of course, it's an open secret at the bank.
