      Pros

      The 1 month paid training was nice. I enjoyed my training group and the lady who was training us named "Fee" for short. Anyone who's shift was after 9:30pm EST got to work 100% remote which was nice and they supplied all of the equipment. I also enjoyed the weekly pay + lots of over time you can request.

      Cons

      Lots of micromanaging and they nit pick you a lot. You would have thought you've screwed up to the point you're causing havoc on the clients debit card/ account, which i've never done. BEWARE of temp to hire position. I kept following up with my staffing agency and bny mellon on any updates on a possible extension.. I kept getting the same answer, "we're working on it and will let you know".. the last day of my extension, they've let myself and many others go without a courtesy two weeks notice. Very unprofessional and now they want me back since I was an outstanding performer.

      Pros

      There is real opportunity for career and skill growth. The company runs short on head count, so people willing to take on more responsibilities have avenues to progress. However, you will need to force the issue for promotions & large salary increases after you prove your capabilities. Realistically it'll take an external counteroffer to move the needle.

      Cons

      It's a large bank and you're a number in the system. If your NPV is positive you'll stay, else you'll be laid off. This includes both scenarios you control and those you don't. Ex. You control your performance, in office time and networking You don't control if your location is a strategic growth site, if a major client goes with a competitor, or if you'd be impacted by a general company-wide layoff plan.
