To clarify -- we've had 2 employees leave the company in the last year. Our insurance benefits are excellent, i.e. 3 health plans, 2 dental plans, vision, life, voluntary life, AD&D, STD/LTD, EAP and matching 401(k) that vests immediately. We pay for the employee portion of 2 health plans, basic life and basic AD&D, EAP and STD/LTD. We pay for a portion of the other health plan and we pay for a portion of both dental and vision plans. After 4 years of service employees enjoy 3 weeks of vacation and doctor's notes are only required when the employee is out 3 or more days or at manager's discretion when absenteeism is an issue. Pay scales are determined by thorough analysis of the market via salary survey information, COLA information etc. Women are always treated equally in everything that we do. We have 7 published holidays but we almost always throw in more throughout the year such as day after July 4th or some time around Christmas and New Years, so it always ends up being around 10 days which is standard for most companies.
