Pros

I never thought that I would regret after leaving BQE but now I realised it. BQE has lot of pros which we take for granted. The work environment,culture. The salary though less but it is always given on time or one day ahead. This company is very old and has a lot of potential. If the CEO and management step up, increase the salaries and promote employees. This company will come in the top class companies list. Also the products of BQE are great and useful.

Cons

Less salary and raise. No appreciation and value for deserving and hardworking employees No promotion Nepotism, Favoritism and poor management

Great Team, Great Managers/Leadership. Quota is attainable and realistic.

Wish they had unlimited PTO. Haven't spoken much about career growth.

Pros

CEO is involved (can be a blessing and a curse) and always willing to talk

Cons

Complete micromanagement, we are talking daily check-ins on what was accomplished and what is to be accomplished, with a dedicated point system that only the head of the team "understands". They will be sure to correct you too if they feel you've dedicated "too many points" to a task. Be prepared to be questioned on everything you do in a day / week. No HR team despite being a company size that definitely should. Anything HR related you'll be discussing with an office manager. Benefits are the weakest I've seen in tech. No formal maternity / paternity leave. So if that's in your future, you'd have to be okay with zero. No 401k matching. And a measly 10 days of PTO a year.
