Pros
BRG is a very solid starting point for those looking to develop foundational skills that can be used to grow your career. You'll work on very forward-thinking projects, in addition to working with fellow colleagues that bring a strong-breadth of knowledge to various industries. Also, individual employees receive a generous training budget that can be used towards learning & development.
Cons
First and foremost at BRG, hours billed comes before the employees, which unfortunately, is the true nature of consulting! Staff work endlessly to see who can bill the most hours, which becomes very counter-productive! Lack of communication from upper-management is also a very big issue at this firm, which especially hurts junior level staff - makes their job unnecessarily harder. On one hand, upper management preaches the importance of communication, but on the other, they don't do it themselves - which is hypocritical to say the least. In the end, your time and experiences at BRG will heavily depend on the team and those you work with!
