Pros
BRMi is at it's turning point from a small business to a large business. While this presents a challenge in the federal contracting space, it also provides employees a real chance to be part of the transformation by contributing to the growth of the company and by contributing to the maturity of the company. BRMi offers all of the standard benefits of a company in the DC Metro area (they are on the high end of what I've experienced in 15 years in the area), BUT the other benefits are what makes working for BRMi: willingness to flex time (for HQ people) and if allowed on contract, generous referral program, true investment in employee skill development, and others. If you are an on-site contract person, do you ever feel like you have no connection to corporate? You won't at BRMi. The corporate culture here is very inclusive. BRMi has many corporate-sponsored events as well as employee-sponsored social events on a monthly basis. You know those boring Quarterly All hands Meetings? BRMi usually has one per year at a restaurant (food and drink included).
Cons
BRMi is experiencing growing pains. Those who have been with the company for a long time may "long for the good old days." And, some of those people seem to hold the company back. But, management knows this and continually works to address it. It can be frustrating, but not something that generally impacts most of the employees.
