Architects and engineers work well together.

Cons

There is a real issue within the firm that cannot be explained as the great resignation. Over the past year, seven of the top leaders have resigned. This includes the Director of Architecture and the Director of Design, the Director of Project Management, the Aerospace and the Federal Market Sector Leaders, the COO, and the President of A&E. The CEO is only willing to work with the HR director regarding firm management. New, talented leaders come to BRPH but they leave after a few years.

Family focused. I enjoy the work life balance. Managers and supervisors are fair. Options to improve and move up. Employee owned and you earn stock in the company. Non toxic work environment.

Cons

Some roles don’t have a career ladder in support sections.

There are many opportunities to get involved because the team is very small and the office is struggling. I left due to poor management and leadership. 5 others quit, including the two people who hired me, while I was there.

Cons

Not family-friendly, not a great location if you live in Decatur, not enough pay for what you have to endure.
