Pros
Company is growing in a fast rate, good career opportunities if you are working on offshore or large client projects. It all depends on the project, so be sure to ask lots of questions about it and you are going to work in an organized company with CMMI 5, MPS.BR A and ISO 9000. The offshore projects are also a promising way to leave Brazil to work in the US for a limited time period, but if it is a good career chance, but do not expect to be promoted, since these jobs are mostly technical programming jobs. Also, the company has a well organized administrative sector, so they pay right and every hour is accounted for, if you agree with your manager beforehand.
Cons
Some senior managers are just plain stupid, like saying that loosing a 7 digit project is not a big deal. Also, the company hires you to some offshore projects to outsource, not really work in a team. Also, all IT workers are not employees with benefits, but they must open a company and become a 1-man company, to avoid Brazilian taxes and fees. Management is also bad in some cases and you may be hired for 2 years, something goes wrong, they usually fire entire teams in a week, since the programming hands are considered a commodity. Also, forget about using latest technologies or having some kind of training. It is not that kind of company.
