Pros

It was an absolute pleasure to work with BTS folks and having a global connect.

Cons

A year ago I was promoted for a good performance. Suddenly there is a major shift in management and they lost major clientele which affected on employees loosing their jobs in the name of poor performance, Its where you lose the value of what you preach and strike employees without knowing their background or the global job market. In the name of downsizing they are still on with their global conferences, big show off of culture throwing parties and events. which u could've saved and kept people employed. We aren't fools we would know. This is sheer truth. We are called to the HR and told you are not good enough. Not allowed to say bye to our global colleagues and just vanish in thin air.

Cons

In the 2 times I have worked for BTS I have been misled on the environment/situation I would be working in. Which has led to serious issues. The first time, I was recruited I moved my family across the country for a position that had 16 turnovers over a 2 year period due to the toxic government leadership. I was not given any heads up and was put in a seriously challenging position for both my career and financial wellbeing. The second time I took a job with BTS, I was told the contract had just been awarded for 5 years. However, once I arrived, again having moved my family across the country, I found out the contract was on a 6 month extension. There are other issues on the administrative side, and all I will recommend is to document everything. You WILL need the proof sometime down the road. All in all, I would say at times BTS was good, but mostly they operate in the morally gray to keep that top line up. Was fired over voicemail, for not working overtime (just working a standard 40 hour work week at night!) while I was recovering from the flu. No notice, no conversation, just canned. If management had taken a moment to speak with me, I could have provided email proof I had approval to take a slight step back while I and my family all recovered from the flu.
