Pros

Babcock Power is the kind of company where people build a long time career. This is one of those few companies where people still go to work for 10 or more years. The management team genuinely cares about the business and the employees and the decisions reflect that even if they aren't always communicated well.

Cons

This is a business that has been around for many years and as a result, it can be a bit old fashioned. Communication could be improved.

Everyone is very welcoming, management has done a great job at getting me involved and traveling to sites to see what I’m working on in real life.

Cons

Sometimes projects are thrown at you without an introduction in what is happening and you have to figure it out along the way.

Yearly bonus based on company performance in addition to pay raise based on individual performance. HR very supportive of employees.

Cons

Building and office is quite grungy. Some managers shouldn’t be managers as they have little experience in managing people well. Poor behaviors and poor teamwork goes unchecked.
