Pros
At first people are freindly towards you. Only they want to talk about you when you aren't around. Long term employees are otherwise very unfriendly, the managers show blatant favoritism towards certain employees. The supervisors on the floor are just as bad as the managers.
Cons
There is a definite seperation between the office personal and production personal. Some office workers around the company are rude and unprofessional. Senior managment maintains personal close relationships with workers that are not appropriate. There is no confidentiality with your supervisor due to the need for the rumor mill to keep turning. As they are often heard having inappropriate conversations about other employees.
