Pros

Good benefits and surprisingly progressive on policies like permissive leave

Cons

NOT innovative as a whole. Most functions working like it’s 10 years ago with old technology. They want to be an energy tech company but most leadership doesn’t understand basic tech to help administratively do our jobs well. Every all hands is scripted and full of toxic positivity. No consideration for the intelligence of employees who want and need more transparency. The most lackluster and uninvolved HR leadership, but thanks for the mental health moments.. And yes layoffs. But the most lazy and short sighted. Absolutely great people being let go, some with decades of tenure. Baker Hughes’ brand is going to take a hit as it seems they can’t figure out how to responsibly shift business strategy.

Pros

Competent management, excellent benefits, competitive pay, and a work life balance that is impossible to compete with

Cons

The totem pole of management is so monumentally tall that the mid and upper management make decisions affecting those on the bottom with no real understanding of what the consequences of their decision are.
