Pros

Interesting programs to work on if you can work on them. The company genuinely tries to find a place for you if work gets too slow or your program is cut. Lots of flexibility in your schedule as long as work is getting done

Cons

I agree with most assessments here, but I would't restrict the 'good ol boys' club at this company to just white men. I worked with many of the Ball elite and not all were white men. If you work here be very careful of who you consider a friend, and be very careful of what your manager assumes is your responsibility. This is where the Ball elite take care of their own: if one of them decides they don't like you, or you question one of their decisions, then ALL of the Ball elite will decide they don't like you. My last year with Ball, I was covering for management foibles, performing the duties of two engineers, and enduring personal attacks in meetings, then I was let go. A month later I was working for NASA and excelling in my job. So, how was it I was pegged a 'bad' employee at Ball????

Pros

Was a good place to be, just wish the pay was a little better.

Cons

Pay wasn't great but they had decent benefits to cover it.

Pros

Amazing mentors, fantastic work life balance, and challenging and interesting work. Best place I could’ve asked to launch my career. This could very well be group/department dependent though, I think I got super lucky there with my manager, mentors, and team.

Cons

Almost all benefits got worse after BAE acquisition.
