Pros
There is a lot of diversity of work at Ball. Ball recognizes that it needs to catch up with the rest of the industry and is doing all it can to integrate more advanced ERP and MRP sysems into daily processes. There are many projects at Ball that have a very high technological content, and are fun and challenging to be part of.
Cons
My biggest complaint with Ball Aerospace is the lack of leadership. The Vision and Mission statements are slogans that mean nothing, and can't be measured. Employees do not have a sense of how what they are working on effects the bottom line, or the strategic direction of the company. While Ball is doing well at integrating more advanced ERP and MRP systems they do not follow through with effective training, so the tools languish.
