Pros

Depends on the project and your supervisor. Some supervisors are chill you with working from home, but others are draconian about being in the office. You can have 2 people in a project, doing the same thing and one being reprimanded for working from home or not finishing taks in time, while the other one isn't because they have 2 different supervisors. So the "pro" is if you roll the dice and get lucky with a chill supervisor.

Cons

Company lead by boomers that are out of touch, completely ignore employee feedback and a management focused style of development. You as a developer can bring ideas to the table that can save up a lot of development time and or headaches, and they'll just ignore them. Almost all of the projects end in some shape or form in failure, because of this very reason. A real story was of an entire team of like 8 people failing to finish their tasks and the manager was more worried about his burnout charts not looking pretty, instead of addressing the issue of why isn't work being finished. This is NOT a place to grow as a developer with proper industry standards, its just a place to collect a paycheck and get work experience under your belt to land a job in a better place.

Pros

Was a good place to be, just wish the pay was a little better.

Cons

Pay wasn't great but they had decent benefits to cover it.

Pros

Amazing mentors, fantastic work life balance, and challenging and interesting work. Best place I could’ve asked to launch my career. This could very well be group/department dependent though, I think I got super lucky there with my manager, mentors, and team.

Cons

Almost all benefits got worse after BAE acquisition.
