Pros

Interesting people, good equipment, parties and different and diverse projects. If they give you any...

Cons

Managers should explain exactly how every project will be measured. They should understand that when a job isn't right for a particular individual, and it's clear that further training or coaching won't change things, it's better to cut that employee loose, so that he or she can find a better match. Fail to get to know employees as people: Developing a relationship with reporting employees is a key factor in managing. Fail to provide clear direction: Managers fail to create standards and give people clear expectations so they know what they are supposed to do, and wonder why they fail. If you make every task a priority, people will soon believe that there are no priorities. More importantly, they will never feel as if they have accomplished a complete task or goal.

Pros

Cool office Good location Occasionally free food Beer in fridge

Cons

Everything else. The office is usually a ghost town. Training is poor, exceptionally poor. Trainer acts as if annoyed when you ask a question. HR is remote, unreachable, and does not care about employees. It is clear overall that Bally’s doesn’t care about employees in the slightest. Terrible benefits. You have to pay $150 out of your own pocket to go through licensing. Why do you think we’re working? The company should cover all expenses. I wish I never accepted this job, it’s just been a waste of time and a rollercoaster. They will also mismanage your paycheck. Unorganized from top to bottom and not a good place to work. Diversity is lacking and it’s apparent. Very odd vibe in the office. Poor technology provided. When you think Bally’s think “bare minimum” because that’s what you’ll receive.
