Pros

Brand is at least somewhat recognizable on your resume.

Cons

The most misogynistic company I’ve ever worked for. Micromanaging at ridiculous levels. No room for development. Bad stereotype of a bunch of men sitting around talking about the problem but no one wanting to be the person to stick their neck out to do anything about it. Treat the women no matter the title like assistants.

Dear reviewer, I would like to start off by thanking you for taking the time to leave your honest thoughts. As Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Bally’s, I wanted to reach out to you personally regarding your experiences within the company. I truly believe that the commitment to nurture a respectful environment exists at all levels of the company. Biased behaviour towards any of our employees has no place within our organisation, and I wish to assure you that this sentiment is held not only by myself, but by all members of our board and senior leadership. With that in mind, I would deeply appreciate it if you would reach out to me directly on twiley@ballys.com to discuss your experiences. Your feedback is an invaluable asset as we continue to nurture an open and respectful working environment. Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts and experiences. I hope to be able to connect with you in the near future. Best regards, Tracey Wiley Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Pros

Cool office Good location Occasionally free food Beer in fridge

Cons

Everything else. The office is usually a ghost town. Training is poor, exceptionally poor. Trainer acts as if annoyed when you ask a question. HR is remote, unreachable, and does not care about employees. It is clear overall that Bally’s doesn’t care about employees in the slightest. Terrible benefits. You have to pay $150 out of your own pocket to go through licensing. Why do you think we’re working? The company should cover all expenses. I wish I never accepted this job, it’s just been a waste of time and a rollercoaster. They will also mismanage your paycheck. Unorganized from top to bottom and not a good place to work. Diversity is lacking and it’s apparent. Very odd vibe in the office. Poor technology provided. When you think Bally’s think “bare minimum” because that’s what you’ll receive.
