Pros

Difficult to think of anything to be honest, which is a pretty sad state of affairs.

Cons

If you were prepared to do as you were told, accept a fancy job title in return for below market pay, and kiss the backside of the people you thought would help your career, you would tinker along just fine. A very small number of people held any worthwhile power, but there were lots of empire builders despite this. It's led to the declining business that exists today. Worth noting the current CEO owed his original job to nepotism which kind of sets the tone. Has covered up the bad decisions of his (and his allies) for years by either making good people redundant or forcing them into a position where they have no choice but to leave. The former CEO Lee Fenton started the rot, it should be noted. He once said proudly "we have a no d*ckheads policy here". The irony of him no longer being there is not lost on me, and I'm sure it isn't lost on many others either.

Pros

Cool office Good location Occasionally free food Beer in fridge

Cons

Everything else. The office is usually a ghost town. Training is poor, exceptionally poor. Trainer acts as if annoyed when you ask a question. HR is remote, unreachable, and does not care about employees. It is clear overall that Bally’s doesn’t care about employees in the slightest. Terrible benefits. You have to pay $150 out of your own pocket to go through licensing. Why do you think we’re working? The company should cover all expenses. I wish I never accepted this job, it’s just been a waste of time and a rollercoaster. They will also mismanage your paycheck. Unorganized from top to bottom and not a good place to work. Diversity is lacking and it’s apparent. Very odd vibe in the office. Poor technology provided. When you think Bally’s think “bare minimum” because that’s what you’ll receive.
