If you want to be under appreciated, overworked, have zero support, no direction, no follow through, and a complete lack of transparency this is the place for you. The Board is full of incompetent leaders, there is not recourse for the students terrible actions and no support from the admin when kids threaten you, cuss you out, disrespect your classroom, the school, or the teachers. Finally, I almost never get the planning time I’m supposed to since I’m always covering a class for an absent teacher or one who resigned midyear or am on hall duty because the kids are disrespectful delinquents. I don’t even send my kids to BCPS, we put them in private once I started working there and saw how bad it truly was.
