Cons
You will feel taken advantage of regularly. You will feel undervalued constantly. You will be blamed for things beyond your control. You will question your own skill and expertise. You will regret taking this job. You will probably be laid off. The top-down authoritarian CEO intimidates and isolates anyone who disagrees with him. There are two factions within the organization: (a) people who carry out his whims without question (they get promoted) and (b) people who disagree with his under-developed and rash decisions (they get laid off). He has pushed the smartest and brightest people out of his company in pursuit of blind loyalty. Across the organization, from senior leadership to customer support - if you are not with him, you are against him. His management style has completely crippled the company, leaving behind a team of people who are too afraid to make any decisions or have an opinion that may differ from his. What this team lacks in skill, they make up for in loyalty. This includes helping him sell underdeveloped products and services to unsuspecting small business owners nationwide. This is a SHAM of a company and a masterclass in how run a successful business into the ground.
