Pros

The ability to work remotely. The team that I worked with was amazing.

Cons

Leadership does not make good decisions on how to move forward with the company. Lots of pivoting to different directions. Leadership hired so many individuals and had no plans for growth, training, and support. It is well know that a high level executive is very difficult to work with and holds lots of power. If you disagree or challenge this individual you were on the chopping block. This caused many co-workers to stay silent when they should have been bringing up their concerns. I had 5 different managers in the span of a little over a year. There was a layoff in June or July 2022 and then there was another layoff in Feb 2023 leaving over a 100 individuals without jobs. I was layed off in 2023 and the company then hires 2 individuals not even 2 months after the layoffs. The company is very unstable The company made an aquisition and ever since that aquisition the company has been divide into two separate groups. Bamboo Health has to always follow the company they aquired rules and processes without input of employees leaving two divided teams. The company also allows individuals to basically throw a tantrum when they don't get their way. I had a peer threaten to quit unless we did what he wanted. Managers said that they would work on change within the department but none followed through. 4 days before my layoff I was contacted by the high level executive that is diffcult to work via text and the message said "You can no longer contact me directly. If you need my assistance you will need to go through the CPO". I asked the CPO about this via email and go no response. 3 days before I was layed off I told the CPO that I was going to work on something over the weekend. His response was "no need to work on the weekend we have plenty of time" There was a project that had been in flight for a year before it was given to me. My team worked on it for 6 months. The project was being sponsered by a customer. The project was 100% complete with the exception of development. 2 days before development the CEO pulled the project and never gave an explanation and it was not because of the customer. It's things like this that shows the company doesn't know which direction they are moving in.

Pros

My onboarding experience has been excellent so far. The caliber of well-rounded professionals and clinicians makes Bamboo an exceptional partner to those we serve. The technology stack is impressive, and—just as importantly—the people are welcoming, down-to-earth, professional, and truly GSD. What continues to excite me most is the direct alignment between what we deliver and how we scale across the entire health ecosystem. Patient outcomes improve by default because this company listens closely to its customers, understands real-time needs, and turns actionable data into meaningful impact.

Cons

I can't think of any right now.

Pros

remote work, flexible time, not much else

Cons

every talented person leaves, a place that drains the light out, random decision making driven by ego, talking in circles rather than real strategy
