Pros

Clear job expectations. Great team. Interesting work. Opportunities for personal growth.

Cons

Little room for promotion. No discussion surrounding compensation increases. It's presented as "here's what you get" and there is no chance to present yourself or your contributions.

Thank you for your thoughtful review. It’s wonderful to hear that you find your work engaging and your team supportive—that’s what we hope every team member experiences at BambooHR. We also appreciate your feedback on advancement and compensation transparency. These are areas we continually review and evolve. If you’d like to ensure your own perspective and accomplishments are seen, we encourage you to highlight them in your 1:1s with your leader and in your self-assessments. And as always, our HR team welcomes additional feedback. Thanks, Jonathan Vaas, Head of HR & Legal

Pros

If you find the right pockets of culture and leadership, you will LOVE it at Bamboo. The Marketing, Technology, HR, and Finance organizations have fantastic leaders who truly care about their employees. There are many opportunities to grow within these departments and career paths are clearly defined. Pay is not great, but the benefits are amazing.

Cons

There are SO many snakes in the grass here. Especially within the CX and Sales organizations. CX and Sales leaders are always looking for ways to hurt each other and they do - frequently. The organization is is going through a big growth phase, but it means that the pressure is INSANE right now. There are too many projects happening at once and no one cares about how it affects other areas of the org.
