Pros

Great place to get your foot in the door within the vet field

Cons

Terrible management. Management bullied, micromanaged, gossiped, would even take you off the schedule in retaliation, would “blow up” your phone repeatedly after hours if she had “something to say”, didn’t really believe in training new employees. Also, management hated animals and would make that very clear. Everything was about the money instead of the pets resulting in low client retention and high turnover

Pros

Supportive paid training, clear communication, excellent hardware for doing your job, remote positions available, Diversity and Inclusion is valued and openly discussed, pets and clients are valued.

Cons

Collections no matter how you phrase it is hard, this position requires cold calling customers that are past due on their wellness plans, Commission based dependent on how much you collect, short lunches, encouraged to not take PTO
