Pros

-Discounts on pet care and free wellness plans -discount at petsmart -decent dental/vision insurance and 401k

Cons

-Health insurance is as bad as it can get with very high deductible -you can only bring your dog in on your day off cuz if you bring him in the day your working you have to pay for hospitalization -Constantly understaffed -care more about profit than pet welfare -they say that they don't euthanaize unless it is for something untreatable but doctors feel that their jobs are threatened if they dont make enough money so they end up doing it anyway PDPs are a joke -No room for advancement. I try to become office manager for a year and they hire someone from outside who doesnt know anything about Banfield -They wont fire anyone. This girl was a no show three times and she still works here. and she cals off all the time

Cons

Collections no matter how you phrase it is hard, this position requires cold calling customers that are past due on their wellness plans, Commission based dependent on how much you collect, short lunches, encouraged to not take PTO
