Pros

The training is excellent and thorough. It does provide for sales opportunites (however does not prepare the agents for massive cold calling. The brochure for each product is great as a presentation tool with prospective clients

Cons

While agents are told to respect each others prospective clients, there were too many crawling over each other to get money to survive. The leads are outdated and overused as most I contacted had been called several times a day. Prices of products are not competitive and are in fact much higher than other companies. If you are an agent, do not buy any Bankers products....when you leave whole life policies will be converted to term life and thus no refund. Also beware of phantom poilicies (ones you never sold yet get charged back on) and high chargebacks when you leave company. Also leads are great if you are willing to pay for them (and that also comes out of your monthly commission). Also be prepared to prey on seniors and force them to purchase products through strong psychological techniques. Beware, if applying, of no base pay as promised in the interview and no benefits until you buy them. Also be set for all cold calling, and I do mean at least 200 calls a day

Pros

Bankers provides award winning training, an elaborate product portfolio and a rapidly growing market. They leverage cutting edge technology: contact and LEAD management, electronic business submission, an incredible proprietary mobile application. I have 11 companies I can be appointed with - making sure my clients get the best program for what they NEED. A great opportunity to receive great training, work with great people and make a great living, all for helping people.

Cons

This opportunity is just that, an opportunity. Those who don't take advantage of it won't think it is a good one. Even successful people deal with a ton of rejection, thick skin is needed. With a 40% closing ratio, I still hear "No" more than "Yes".
