Pros
Bankers Life and Casualty was my first career opportunity after graduating college. Seven years later I have never once regreted my decision to work for this company. Since I was hired, the branch has continually updated and improved their training program to help new agents succeed. I take offense to those who say 'to be successful you need to scam seniors'. I am a successful agent. I have sat at kitchen tables with millionaires and those who are poverty stricken. They have all been treated with the same respect and professionalism. I believe in what goes around comes around. If you do what is right and in the best interest of the client good things will happen. In my experience, I have seen situations where seniors were mislead. It's not the company....it's the people representing the company. I am proud to represent Bankers Life and Casualty Company.
Cons
Bankers Life and Casualty isn't for everyone. The people that don't make it aren't victims. You definately need to be a people person and work hard your first year. My manager and trainers told me that on the frontend. But doesn't that make sense....you're a brand new agent learning the business. How can you become an expert in your business if you're not working at least 40 hours a week?
