Pros
Enjoyed my job very much. Very friendly co workers made work very nice. Doctors were very nice and I learned a lot on doing various procedures that has made me a better worker for my new job.
Cons
Overworked employee by working too many hours it jeopardize patient care by being a very tired tech. Fired over a couple mistakes after working 30 hrs straight .Police had to drive me home as I was a danger to other cars being overworked so tired was weaving on other side of road endangering me and other drivers. Labor board is looking into this as it effected patients care and drivers on road. No loyalty to employee due to a bad situation of too many hours where full alert concentration was unable to be done due to working to long. As much as I loved working here I feel betrayed by way I was worked. Now have a full time job at another Banner with benefits and they stand by me by not making me work 3 shifts in a row with no sleep, they want their techs rested so they can be on top of things and give the best care to patients and not make mistakes by being to tired. I suggest patients go to Tucson or Phoenix due to workers not being able to be alert to give great care since they are clearly overworked. Labor board has all the info and finds in favor of my situation. I'm posting this without my name . Just informing of my experience, and I have back up from the labor board. If you do work here and take a job be cautious and don't work long hours. Mistakes are made when your tired. You can loose your job with any mistake no matter how good you are due to overworking and not thinking clearly. I'm sad to post this, it's the truth. A lot of employees don't last long here and jobs are always available, unless things change people won't stay loyal. I now have a Hospital that I plan on working until I retire. I finally have happiness in another Banner facility who is on my side.
