      Pros

      A big company that is unlikely to go out of business . Benefits are adequate.

      Cons

      Lack of incentive pay for performancy. Lack of opportunity to advance your career. Unfortunately the hospital system is competing with another system that has been around for a long time. Not sure if the competition is good for the public

      Pros

      The health benefits are phenomenal, but they are a closed network, limited to Banner Health providers and chosen community providers. Compensation will always be on the lower end due to being not-for-profit.

      Cons

      Regarding IT efficiency, they are behind. Processes are archaic and manual due to lack of up to date IT programs. Their systems do not talk to each other, and there are workarounds for everything.
