Pros
People are nice and friendly, most attorneys are good natured and passionate about their work, and most staff are enjoyable.
Cons
Such a disconnect between management and staff. No room to grow, promotions from within are rare, and when given, often don't make any sense. There is no training or policies in place. Stuffy environment. Management thinks that they treat staff really well (they don't), benefits are basically non-existent. Jeans every Friday? How progressive! And the pay...if you are not management or attorney, better get used to living paycheck to paycheck. No trust in staff whatsoever, Internet is blocked, headphones are banned. Older staff members hawkishly review your time and are quick to point out any discrepancies. Upper management has the idea that staff is inherently untrustworthy and trying to 'screw' them out of something. Trying to get your name in IP, good company to have on your resume. Otherwise, you'd be better served at another firm.
