Pros

If you believe what you are told this is a great place to work with great benefits.

Cons

Almost everything you are told by management is a lie. Examples: Employer 401K contributions are taken out of profit sharing checks. Not only does this effect promised compensation but it is an ERISA violation. Employer health insurance. Does not exist because as a self insured employer BBSI charges premiums AND deducts all actual costs from the branches and profit sharing which means BBSI employees don't actually have health insurance coverage. The CEO's entire career is a fraud. None of his career accomplishments are true. BBSI is currently being investigated by the SEC for securities fraud. BBSI recently fired their CFO for making unsubstantiated journal entries. CFO is a scapegoat. CEO directed him to make those changes.

Pros

The people truly make the difference. BBSI has a collaborative culture where leaders are accessible and teammates genuinely want each other to succeed. You're empowered to make an impact. Good ideas are welcomed, and if you're willing to take ownership, you can help shape the business. Strong commitment to clients and local relationships. It's refreshing to work for a company that values long-term partnerships over short-term wins. Financially stable company with a clear vision and continued investment in people, technology, and growth. Great work-life flexibility and leadership that trusts employees to deliver results.

Cons

Like any growing organization, change happens frequently, which can require teams to adapt quickly. Cross-functional priorities can sometimes compete, making alignment across departments an ongoing effort. Because BBSI continues to evolve, some internal processes and systems are still being refined. Decision-making can occasionally take longer than desired as leadership seeks input from multiple stakeholders.

Pros

Great team environment with supportive coworkers who are always willing to help and collaborate. Working with a variety of clients provides valuable networking opportunities and exposure to different industries, making it a great place to build professional relationships and expand your experience.

Cons

Leadership has declined significantly compared to previous management. A major concern is the lack of trust shown toward employees, which has led to an environment where people feel micromanaged rather than empowered to do their jobs effectively. Previous leadership encouraged open communication, listened to employee feedback, and fostered a culture of mutual respect and accountability. In contrast, employee concerns and suggestions are often not acknowledged or acted upon, leaving many feeling unheard and undervalued. There is a noticeable lack of meaningful listening and engagement from management, which has contributed to low morale and a growing disconnect between leadership and staff. The overall work environment has become increasingly negative, with a culture that does not consistently promote trust, collaboration, or professional growth. Additionally, there have been instances of inappropriate jokes and comments that create discomfort among employees, further contributing to a workplace culture that can feel unprofessional, unwelcoming, and unsupportive.
